**GONE 11/28/15** ADORABLE ACOMA IS A LADY LOOKING FOR A HOME…..Found dehydrated and emaciated on the street, ACOMA was discovered to be FELV+…..ACOMA needs a lot of TLC, med care and groceries to make up for her rough time on the streets. ACOMA needs to be retested to make sure she is not a false positive. If she is truly positive, she can live as an only cat, with dogs or with other FELV cats. The ACC is having a hard time determining ACOMA’s age…..she may be a little bit older. Whatever her age, this super sweet BEGINNER needs a loving PURRMANENT or FOSTER home NOW!! 11/23/15 17:54 Basic information: Acoma was brought in as a stray. The finder found her in the street, the finder placed Acoma in a cardboard box and brought her to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Acoma was very weak with somewhat limp body. Acoma allow to be scanned (negative), collared, picked up and placed in a cat kennel.

Reaction to door opening: Acoma remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Acoma head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Acoma interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
