ACCORD – A1040711
6-23-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Happy Homes Please honor your pledges: http://www.happyhomesinc.org/
**SAFE 06/23/15** Get your motor running for this sporty quartet of kittens! INFINITY, CADILLAC, ACURA and ACCORD are handsome young boys who were brought into the ACC as a single group, although from the age guesstimates of the ACC, the shelter thinks these guys are from separate litters. Since all they plan to do is kill them tomorrow anyway, it’s not as if the shelter has probably given it much thought. All 4 of these lovelies has been given an EXPNOCHILD rating, and all of them should grow up into handsome, loving pets if they get that chance. Please find a foster/adopter to save these precious lives, tonight!

06/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Accord came into the care center as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home, or to his previous situation. He has been timid since arrival, attempting to flee during intake and tense for his initial exam. When approached in the cage Accord remained at the front of the cage, but was hesitant to interact, avoiding eye contact. He allowed gentle touch but did not relax or engage. Reaction to assessor: Accord is sitting at the front of the cage, body tense. Reaction to cage door opening: Remains in place, still tense. Reaction to touch: Accord flinches when the assessor’s hand approaches. He allows a gentle touch but remains tense. Placement determination: Experienced home without children Accord appears to be undersocialized and wary of human interaction. We recommend an adopter experienced with socializing kittens and providing positive experiences to build trust. For Accord’s comfort we recommend a home without children. Accord is not thriving in the kennel environment, so we recommend placement into a stable home environment as quickly as possible.
