***SAFE 06/26/15*** “VERY SWEET, FRIENDLY, AFFECTIONATE” YOUNG TORTIE “STRAY” HAS A NEAR-PERFECT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT ABILENE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Exquisitely beautiful tortoiseshell girl ABILENE, just four years old, has been dumped into the kill-happy ACC with a sad back story: “She was found inside Finder’s building 3 days ago. Finder knocked on everyone’s door and nobody reclaimed. Finder took Abilene into their home, but had to separate her from another female cat in the home that did not get along with Abilene. There were 2 children in the home ages 3 and 9 years old and Abilene was very sweet and friendly with (kids). BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Abilene was very sweet and affectionate upon intake. She allowed for easy handling and collaring and placing into kennel.” Sweet Abilene earned a near-perfect AVERAGE behavior rating for the charming way she ROLLED OVER FOR BELLY RUBS! But this adorable lovebug will DIE AT NOON TOMORROW, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the ever-present ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Torties have marvelously EXUBERANT, LOVING personalities, otherwise known as TORTITUDE! Let’s make sure they don’t silence her purrs forever. Please start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt darling tortie girl ABILENE! if you can’t save ABILENE yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!
