***SAFE 12/31/15*** CUTE CHIP IS NOT AT HIS BEST IN THIS PICTURE…..CHIP is a three year old Siamese who came in with creamsicle friend DIGGY (not listed). It looks like CHIP lived with a finder (or was owned) and was very tolerant of young children and was also fine with other cats…But you know that the ACC frightens cats and a mild-mannered cat like CHIP feels defenseless and now has a NEW HOPE rating….GIVE CHIP A CHANCE!! CONTACT A NEW HOPE RESCUE AND OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT THIS DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!! GIVE CHIP A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND NEW LIFE!!

Reaction to assessor: Chip looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Chip remains crouched position on his cage bedding, alert with pupils dilated. Reaction to touch: Chip does not allow the stroke, grumples, hisses, and swats at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Chip is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room.
