TUSSAUD – A1051289
Gone 9-18-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 09/18/15*** Every shelter cat has their own story. Some we may know and some we won’t ever know. It’s the sad thing about STRAYS! TUSSAUD is one of the unlucky ones that came to the ACC as a STRAY. We may not know this one year old’s history but we do know he is a frightened kitty who came in with some injuries which may have contributed to his reaction to the assessor and staff. Sadly, he’s branded with a RESCUE ONLY rating! TUSSAUD needs some kindness and some vetting. PLEASE contact a NEW HOPE RESCUE NOW, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT! Give this orange cutie the chance to shine! His story isn’t over! Write him a happy ending!

09/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Tussaud looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Tussaud remains hiding in his cat den, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Tussaud hisses and growls at the assessor’s hand and does not allow the stroke. Placement determination: NH ONLY Tussaud is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Please note that Tussaud is being treated for a serious medical condition at the time of the evaluation, and is receiving pain medication. We cannot be certain how this is affecting his behavior. His behavior may change when his medical condition is addressed.
