Reaction to assessor: Tommy Boy looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Tommy Boy remains hiding on her cat den, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Tommy Boy does not allow the stroke, hisses at the assessor’s hand and retreats. Placement determination: NH ONLY Tommy Boy is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
