TERRY – A1051362

***GONE 09/26/15***TERRIFIED TRIO LOSE HOME WHEN OWNER HOSPITALIZED!
Eisel, Ocean and Terry are three young cats who were brought to the ACC when their former owner became to ill to care for them any longer. It is likely that these sad sweethearts’ former owner has been unable to care properly for his or her pets properly, since Eisel and Ocean entered the ACC with some issues that speak to an inconsistent level of care and poor Terry is healthy just super petrified at the shelter. They all are in fact, and who can blame them? Eisel, Ocean and Terry need some TLC to get back on track healthwise and time to decompress but they are used to being house cats. Please see past their not so flattering intake pix and NH ratings to advocate for them tonight and give these kitties a chance to live. Please contact a NH rescue if you can offer any of this sad angels a new leash on life. They have already lost so much and tonight cling to all that is left—their precious lives. We are this terrified trio’s only hope. Don’t let them down!!!

09/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Terry was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was brought in with numerous other cats and was nervous upon intake. She was slightly difficult to handle due to the fact that she was brought in with multiple cats in a large carrier. Despite her nervousness, she allowed all handling during her initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Terry becomes stiff and alert upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Terry focuses on the assessor and hisses. Reaction to cage door opening: Terry hisses and remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Terry hisses and does not allow touch; she spits and retreats from the assessor’s hand. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Terry is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment, and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
