09/09/15 20:18 Litter Mates : Luanne : A1050867 Gemma : A1050868 Tara : A1050869 Tara and her litter mates were brought into ACC today as stray cats. Tara is a black calico female cat who had discharge in both of her eyes and will undego a full physical health exam. She was calm and well behaved throughout the Intake process. She allowed herself to be picked up and handled with no difficulty. She also allowed herself to be photographed and collared with minimal effort. She did not become nervous when separated from her litter mates and she displayed no negative reactive behavior.

Notes: Tara was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Tara is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: resting at the back of cage When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Tara tolerant of this type of handling.
