11/06/15 12:45 Basic Info: Taluluh is a 3 year old female cat who has no known injuries or medical problems. She was surrendered to the shelter due to a housing conflict with the owner. Social Life and Personality: According to the owner she has not been around any children before so his behaviors are unknown. She lived with 3 other cats and was relaxed, affectionate, and playful around them and when she played it was gentle. She lived with one dog and was relaxed and respectful but did not interact much. She is litter box trained, kept indoors only, and has a medium to low level of energy. Behavior: She was never given a bath, has his nails clipped, or his fur brushed so his behaviors are unknown. She enjoys being picked up and held and is not bothered when placed into a carrier. New Family Info: She is used to pellet litter inside an uncovered box. She played with balls and wand toys and used a vertical scratching post made out of rope and carpet. She followed owner around the home and was fed dry food. Intake Behavior: During intake she allowed all handling without aggression. When scanned was negative for a microchip and when touched had soft, relaxed body and would brush against hand when stroked. When inside new carrier sat at front and when given food showed no interested towards it.

Taluluh’s previous owner states that she has not been around any children before. She has lived with three other cats and was relaxed, affectionate, and played gently with them. She also lived with a dog and was relaxed and respectful around it, but did not have many interactions. She is litter box trained and has a low-medium energy level. Reaction to assessor: Taluluh was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Taluluh looks at the assessor and meows. Reaction to cage door opening: Taluluh remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Taluluh head-butts, comes to the front to lean on the assessor, and starts to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Taluluh remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Taluluh interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
