***SAFE 11/20/ 15*** TALIA is a beautiful name for a GORGEOUS kitten! This 8 month old winded up at the Care Center because her owner is hospitalized. There is no one to blame here as this situation is just sad all around! But likley one or both of them will not walk out of their respective buildings ALIVE. But TALIA does have a shot! She only needs one person to step up and offer to FOSTER or ADOPT her! She is very fearful in the she so she does need her new pet parents to be experienced with no kids! Don’t let her chance of freedom slip away…don’t let TALIA die because her previous owner may suffer that fate. Don’t let your chance to do an act of kindness go unnoticed!

11/08/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Talia was resting in her cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Talia looks up at the assessor, and then puts her head back down again to rest. Reaction to cage door opening: Talia remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Talia hisses and focuses on the assessor’s hand. She remains in place for petting, but starts to breathe rapidly and blinks throughout the interaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Talia tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
