SUNCHIPS – A1060063
Gone 12-14-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 12/14/15** SUNCHIP’S OWNER WAS EVICTED AND HE LANDED IN THE ACC – THIS SUPER HANDSOME TABBY NEEDS A RESCUE ANGEL TONIGHT! SUNCHIPS is 5 years old and not a happy camper being abandoned in the shelter. He came in with a wound on his left paw and has a broken tooth but otherwise is healthy. SUNCHIPS got an EXPNOCHILD rating because he is afraid and didn’t like handling much. We know that cats feel terrible trauma and sadness when dumped in a shelter and this big boy is no exception. Once you get him safe and sound, he will go back to being his old self again. SUNCHIPS DESERVES TO HAVE A NEW FUREVER HOME THIS TIME AND ONLY YOU CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN. PLEASE CONTACT A RESCUE TO OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT SUNCHIPS TONIGHT!!

Reaction to assessor: SunChips does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: SunChips does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: SunChips remains motionless Reaction to touch: SunChips allows petting for a limited amount of time before attempting to flee Try picking cat up: Did not attempt due to Sunchips trying to flee Behavior Determination: Experience No Child SunChips was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. Although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
