WAS SPRING ROLL AN ABANDONED PET?? We don’t know. We do know what will happen tomorrow to SPRING ROLL if he doesn’t get help……ADULT CATS NEED FOSTERING TOO….PLEASE CONTACT A NEW HOPE RESCUE AND OFFER TO FOSTER SPRING ROLL…He needs Time and TLC and he will be fine…PLEASE GIVE HIM THAT CHANCE….

08/30/15 14:30 Profile wasn’t left due to animal being stray. Behavior During Intake: Spring Roll was brought ino the facility a trap by the finder. Upon arrival Spring Roll was thrashing around the trap in attempts to break free. When I extended my hand he ran in the opposite direction and continued to thrash around the trap. I wasn’t able to scan, collar, or handle Spring Roll due to behavior during intake.

Reaction to assessor: Hiding in den when I approach. (3) Reaction to being spoken to quietly: Continues to hide. (3) Reaction to cage door opening: Stiff and alert. (3) Reaction to touch: Moves away and tries to flee cage. (4) Notes: Spring Roll came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. At the time of the assessment, Spring Roll is exhibiting fearful behavior. He avoids interaction with the assessor and does not allow handling. Spring Roll is displaying behavior suited to rescue partners.
