***SAFE 08/19/15*** BEAUTIFUL SNOWBALL and buddy SNOWFLAKE(who is already SAFE) were surrendered due to living situations. Niow this 1year old male is about to face DEATH without a miracle! SNOWBALL was around his other cat buddy, but NOT around DOGS! He did live with a female adult and three teens, ages 13,15 and 18 years. Also for his GREAT behavior he earned himself a BEGINNER rating! PLEASE email the HELP DESK NOW at [email protected] and offer to foster or adopt. 08/07/15 16:23 Basic Information: Snowball is a 1 year old unaltered female domestic shorthair. He was bred at home owner stated. Snowball was surrendered due to living situation. Social Life and Personality: Snowball lived with one female adult and teenagers ages 13, 15, and 18 years old. Owner stated Snowball is tolerant and relaxed towards everyone in the household. Snowball lived with another cat name Snowflake A1047006. Owner stated they are a bonded pair and should be adopted together. Snowball behavior is unknown towards dogs. He is indoors only and activity level is to a medium. Owner stated Snowball is playful, mellow, and independent. Behavior Issues: Snowball has never bitten or scratched anyone. Snowball was never given a bath or nail trim. He doesn’t like being picked up and held. He isn’t bothered being put in carrier or disturb while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Snowball is litter box trained and share a litter box with another cat. He likes to play with strings and shoes. In the house she rarely seeks attention and stay hidden. He eats dry food called Purina 3-4 times a day. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Snowball was quiet and clam. He scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.

Reaction to Assessor: Snowball was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front when softly spoken to. He rolls onto his back and reaches out with his paw when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Snowball remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Snowball head-butts, leans on the assessor’s hand, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Snowball remains soft and allows all handling. As per previous owner, Snowball has lived with an adult and three teenagers. He is tolerant and relaxed around everyone in the home and lived with another cat. He gets along well with the other cat and is affectionate with them. He can be described as playful, mellow, and independent with a medium activity level. Behavior Determination: Beginner Snowball interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
