SIMBA – A1049974
Gone 9-6-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 09/06/15** SIMBA is a rare orange girl, a perfect delight who has been at the shelter since September 1. That’s right, the ACC has given this frightened–but perfectly NICE CAT–only a few days before the holiday killing spree that they are clearly planning, and they included her on tonight’s bloated At Risk List. SIMBA needs someone to FOSTER or ADOPT her, someone who will give her a minute to take a breath, exhale, and decide everything is going to be alright. SIMBA does not deserve to be killed tomorrow so please, advocate widely for her tonight!

09/04/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Simba brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats and tries to flee as I started to get closer. After a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: retreats, attempts to flee Reaction to touch: becomes nervous when touched and stress meows Try picking cat up: Simba allows handling but becomes very tense Placement Determination: Experience
