***SAFE 8/30/15***Gorgeous Serena is a 6 month old stray who was brought into the shelter by someone who said she would be better off not having to fend for herself. Fending for yourself is better than being killed and now Serena is on the euthanasia list tonight. Serena is a sweet cat who loves attention and head butts. This little sweetie is ready for some love. She loves being picked up, pet and will bond forever with her forever home. She can go to a beginner home. Don’t let this perfect girl cat die today. Finder stated that it would be best if it was brought to the shelter instead of leaving it out to fend for itself. Finder stated that Serena allowed her to carry her and place her into a carrier with no problem. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Serena had a soft body and was relaxed when being photographed. She head butted the Handler and was looking for attention.

Reaction to touch: Serena head-butts, begins to purr, and leans on the assessor to solicit attention. Reaction to being picked up: Serena remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Serena interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
