SARGENTA – A1048638
Urgent 9-5-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
*** SAFE 09/05/15 *** IT APPEARS THAT SARGENTA’S OWNER MAY HAVE PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY……SARGENTA got a police escort to the ACC but that’s where the protection ended……SARGENTA likes dealing with the assessor and rolls over and she also was friendly with the police too. However, SARGENTA with her awesome AVERAGE rating is overwhelmed in the adoptions room and now instead of working with that, the ACC is listing her….PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT THIS EIGHT MONTH OLD SWEETIE AND GIVE HER A NEW AND LOVING LIFE…..

09/04/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sargenta does not appear to be acclimating well to the adoptions room, hiding behind her litterbox with dilated pupils. She remains social and interactive, but due to her stress level we feel that placement into a stable home environment quickly is in her best interest. 8/25 eval: Reaction to assessor: Sargenta looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor cage. Reaction to door opening: Sargenta remains lying down on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Sargenta accepts the stroke, rolls over in place, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She calmly jumps back nto her cage. Placement determination: Average Sargenta interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
