FIV is not a death sentence and cats can have long lives given proper care. RUBIX CUBE CERTAINLY NEEDS A FRIEND TONIGHT!! CAN YOU BE THERE FOR HIM?? Notes: Rubix Cube was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Rubix Cube was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling.When attempted to touch he growls,hisses. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: stays in cat den (3) When spoken quietly: stays in cat den (3) Reaction to door cage opening: Stays in cat den (3) Reaction to touch: growls,hisses (4) Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of behavior, growls.
