Social Life and Personality: Rosy lived with 3 adults and children ages 21 months, 5 and 7 years old. Owner stated Rosy is relaxed, affectionate and playful towards everyone in the house. She is shy when she meets new people but opens up after a while. Rosy lived with another cat name Daisy A1058277 and they are playful and affectionate towards each other. Rosy has never been around dogs. She likes to go outdoors during the day in the neighborhood and comes back home when called. Her activity level is to a medium and owner describes her as playful, shy, friendly and affectionate. Behavior: Rosy never bitten or scratched anyone owner stated. She’s afraid of taking baths so owner would buy pet wipes. She was never given nail trim but liked to bed brushed. Rosy enjoys being picked up and held. Owner stated Rosy will have accidents outside the litter box if it wasn’t clean and will urinate on clothes or blankets. For a New Family to Know: Rosy is litter box trained and uses a uncovered litter box. She likes to play with Christmas balls, feathers, yarn and stuffed toys. She had a scratching post made out of cardboard. Rosy likes to sit on owner lap. Rosy will eat wet and dry food and eat any treats Tuna and Salmon flavor. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Rosy was calm and relaxed. She attempt to flee while taking photo. She scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.

Rosy has never been around dogs. She likes to go outdoors during the day in the neighborhood and comes back home when called. Her activity level is to a medium and owner describes her as playful, shy, friendly and affectionate. Reaction to assessor: Rosy does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Rosy does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Rosy remains motionless Reaction to touch: Rosy seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Rosy is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience .At the time of the assessment Rosy was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
