09/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Owner Profile: Rabbit was bought into the care center because her pervious owner is going though personal problems. Rabbit lived with two adults, no children and other cats. Rabbit is described to be shy of the other cats in the home and mostly stays to herself. Rabbit uses a common litter box with the other cats that is filled with fresh step litter. Rabbit has not been exposed to dogs and is an indoor cat. Notes: Rabbit at the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Placement Determination: Experience
