All three have the shelter cold which gives the ACC an excuse to list them rather than work on finding them homes!! 10/27/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Pins was bought into the care center by his previous owner due to no longer being able to finically take care of him. The previous owner described Pins as playful. No other information was given. Please note that Pins is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Pins comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention When spoken quietly: Pins stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Pins remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Pins solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Pins tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner At the time of the assessment Pins was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Pins is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
