**SAFE 09/04/15** FIFTH NIGHT FOR OCTOBER! Someone at the ACC really, really, REALLY does not want to stick a needle in this cat and kill her, BUT THE WILL TOMORROW! October had a public reserve but since that fell through, this excellent girl is ONCE AGAIN in need of a hero—someone who will actually come through for her this time, thanks very much. OCTOBER & WEDNESDAY ARE TWO CALICO PALS WHO CAME INTO THE ACC TOGETHER!! OCTOBER is getting a miraculous FIFTH CHANCE on the list tonight while WEDNESDAY has NOT been relisted….OCTOBER is publicly adoptable and why people keep passing her up we don’t know… OCTOBER NEEDS RESCUE AND LOVE….PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT TONIGHT…ONE PURRSON COULD SAVE HER LIFE TONIGHT BY RESERVING HER ONLINE OR WORKING WITH A NEW HOPE RESCUE. PLEASE SAVE OCTOBER!

08/26/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/26/15 16:13 October was brought to ACC after being trapped behind a business where about 30 cats are being fed. The cats are reported to appear unhealthy and they are breeding. October arrived in a trap. She retreated from us and had wide eyes, so we transferred her and took her pictures in her kennel without handling her. She always retreated in the back.

08/29/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: October looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: October remains hiding in the cat den, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: October accepts the stroke, but panics in place, and attempts to escape her cage. Placement determination: Experience / no child October tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
