Pretty princess NOMAI, a 2-year-old brown tabby beauty, was dumped into the kill-happy ACC as a LACTATING STRAY, along with her kitten (A1044597, status unknown). During intake, the ACC said that Nomai was a “sweet girl” who was “easy to handle”. Nomai snagged a near-perfect AVERAGE behavioral rating for her GENTLE, TRUSTING RUBS, but this lovebug will DIE at noon tomorrow, an INNOCENT VICTIM of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. 07/18/15 20:11 Tinder is a 2 year old female gray tabby domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Tinder was receptive but cautious to introduction. Tender was semi tense for handling and attemped to flee but counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Tinder was easily replaced to the carrier.

Notes: Nomai was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment Nomai was displaying shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Nomai is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, appears slightly nervous When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, appear slightly nervous Reaction to door cage opening: stays at the back of cage, curious Reaction to touch: warms up, allows all petting, rubs on hand, slowly approaches front of cage briefly Try picking cat up: Nomai is calm while being handled Placement Determination: Average
