I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/01/2015 from NY 10453, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/1/15 18:10 Basic information: Nico was brought in as a stray. The finder found him in the street, the finder placed Nico in a cat carrier and brought him to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Nico had tense, stiff body. Nico allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured and placed in a cat kennel.

Reaction to assessor: Nico immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Nico remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Nico head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Nico interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
