*GONE* 09/23/15 – Nelson has a broken leg and is eating on his own a little bit, but seems very friendly and is very vocal. Nelson should be named Squirrelly because he has the weirdest meow I’ve ever heard!!!

S/O: in medical due to lameness in left hind leg. The left tarsus has increased laxity and moderate to severe soft tissue swelling – likely fractured vs. ligament injury. Eyes are crusted shut – used warm wet gauze to remove the crusted discharge and the eye have mild conjunctivitis but no apparent damage to the cornea. severe flea infestation and pale mm’s – suspect flea anemia. poor body condition. will take a few bites of a/d but not eating much. covered in diarrhea.

erythromycin OU BID x 10 days
buprenorphine 0.02 ml BID x 7 days
nutrical 1.5 ml BID x 7 days
SQ fluids: 15 ml SQ SID x 3 days
force feed BID
needs new hope placement for x-rays and surgery (fixation vs. amputation) for left hind leg
given pyrantel during initial exam
ponazuril SID x 2 days
pet tinic 0.15 ml PO SID (with food/after force feeding) x 5 days
