**SAFE 11/20/15** Isn’t it ironic that MS DALLAS was found by the Bronx Zoo by the Finder. One would think they have enough of putting animals into cages and now they have put one more into a cage! Thanks Bronx ZOO….you may have just killed this one! MS DALLAS is just 2 years old and her perfect behavior has earned her a BEGINNER rating! She could easily fit into most any HOME! Offer to FOSTER or ADOPT MS DALLAS. Let’s get this one out of a cage FOR GOOD!

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/12/2015 from NY 10458, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/12/15 11:42 Ms Dallas A1057637 was found by the Bronx zoo by the finder. Behavior during intake Ms Dallas was relaxed and quiet during intake. She allowed to be scanned(-) and handled. At first, she tried to flee but after a couple of minutes of petting, she relaxed and purred. I pet the top of her head and she continued to head butt and solicit attention. I carried her and transferred her into a kennel.

Ms Dallas was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was quiet upon intake. She attempted to flee at first, but started to relax and began to purr after a couple of minutes of petting. She allows handling throughout the intake process and during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Ms Dallas gets up, meows, and solicits attention by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Ms Dallas continues to solicit and is calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction to cage door opening: Ms Dallas remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Ms Dallas head-butts, leans on the assessor, and starts to knead and purr. She is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: Ms Dallas remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Ms Dallas interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
