MOONLIGHT – A1045228
8-5-2015 Manhattan
SAFE 8/5/15 A volunteer writes: Moonlight is the Fonzie of the shelter. Cool, calm and collected, she wasn’t bothered at all by this stranger with a noisy camera; she was perfectly content to let me take as many pictures as I needed. She never came forward to ask for my attention (does The Fonz need ask? Heyyy!), but when I reached out for some head rubs she was very happy to receive them all the same. Shutter click, head rub, shutter click, cheek scratch. And so it went. I can only imagine how soothing she will be as a permanent presence in someone’s home!
