07/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Montana looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Montana remains crouched down on her cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Montana accepts the touch on the head, but along her back she stiffens up in place, hisses and attempts to swat at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Montana tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
