Medical Behavior Evaluation GREEN
Medical Summary Scan : negative Sex: female Approx 5 months S/O: BARH, APP ++, clear EENT, cardiothoracic auscultation normal. Underweight for age, BCS 4/9. Right hind limb severe paresis, withdrawal reflex positive, left hind limb paralysis, anal and tail tone present. Wound of unknown origin on R hind hip, mild purrulent discharge, three wounds on underside of tail, mild purrulent discharge. Clipped and cleaned around wounds, applied SSD. Gave 0.06ml buprenorphine SQ A: Wound of unknown origin, infected. Secondary nerve damage affecting hindlimbs, fracture/hip luxation could not be ruled out at this time P: Buprenorphine BID, Clavamox BID, SSD applied BID. Re-evaluate hindlimb and bladder function, +/- pelvic rads tomorrow, continue to monitor while here. Recommend placement with rescue for follow-up veterinary care for wound management and more thorough evaluation. PROGNOSIS: FAIR
