***GONE 09/11/15 *** EXOTIC MISMI HAS THE VOLUNTEERS TALKING…..
A volunteer writes: Mismi, an unusual name for an unusual cat. Just full grown, she is as loving as the little pink heart of her nose would lead you to believe, plus she is a kisser. I pet her for awhile, which she definitely enjoyed, and as I said, I got kisses and purrs in return. I hope there is someone who wants to let this young lady be the lover she truly is, I hope you’ll come meet her to see what I saw in her….MISMI may be pregnant again….whether she is or not, she needs to be saved from the ACC tomorrow!! PLEASE OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT MISMI TONITE!!

The young children are the ages of 14 and 15 years old and they were able to transfer her into the carrier with no problem. Behavior during intake Mismi and her kittens came out of the carrier on their own. They are friendly and allowed all handling.

09/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Mismi looks looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Mismi remains lying down at the front of the cage, chirping attention. Reaction to touch: Mismi head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. However, when there is a cat in sight, she becomes defensive then began to huff and puff in place, but does not redirect. Placement determination: Experience Mismi tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
