MICHAEL – A1040987
6-27-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 06/27/15*** Michael is a handsome kitty who sadly ended up at the ACC through no fault of his own. He was brought in as a “stray”. Michael is scared and who can really blame him. He is locked up in a small cage and doesn’t know what’s in store for him. Michael needs your help desperately because he will not make it out alive. Once he is out of this chaotic environment he will probably calm down. All he needs is someone to have faith in him. Please consider fostering or adopting Michael. You’re his only hope.

06/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Michael was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: hisses, growls, tries to flee Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid, hisses and tries to flee. Placement Determination: NewHope
