FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Maximus is accustomed to using dust free clumping litter in a hooded litter box. He plays with anything with a string attached. He did not have a scratching post in his home but would scratch at the upholstered furniture in the home. He is accustomed to eating wet and dry cat food but would eat cooked chicken his owner provided. Maximus would sleep in any family member’s bed in his owner’s home. DURING INTAKE Maximus appeared frightened because he hid in the back of the carrier during the intake process. When a hand was extended towards him, he would back away.
