06/15/15 09:15 Intake Behavior: Man is a 7 year old gray domestic short hair. He was very vocal throughout the intake. He allowed handling to be placed on the counter for photos but tried to hide when on the counter. He allowed to be collared and walked back into the carrier herself.

Notes: Man was bought into the care center by his previous owner due to having to many pets. Man at the time of the assessment was shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Man is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, nervous When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you,nervous Reaction to door cage opening: stays at back of the cage Reaction to touch: becomes relaxed allows petting and attention , purrs, head butts Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling. Placement Determination: Average 6/22 update: Man does not appear to be thriving in the kennel environment. When approached he hides, and when uncovered his ears flatten, pupils dilate, and he hisses. It is in Man’s best interest to move into a stable home environment as quickly as possible.
