11/09/15 14:06 Basic Information: Lucio is an altered gray and white domestic short hair. He was given to the owner from someone whose cat had kittens. He is being surrendered because the family has cat allergies that have become worse over the last year. Lucio has no known health problems or injuries. Social Life and Personality: Lucio has lived with 2 adults. When people visit the home, Lucio tends to hide; he will come out after some time but runs when a stranger tries to pet him. He has not been socialized with cats or dogs to know how Lucio would behave around them. He is litter box trained, is kept indoors, and has a medium activity level. The owner describes him as shy, mellow, affectionate, and quiet. Behavior: Lucio has not been given a bath nor had his nails trimmed to know how he would react during them. He is not bothered when having his coat brushed, when picked up, or held. He struggles going into a carrier. For a New Family to Know: Lucio is used to clumping litter inside a hooded litter box. He scratches on his vertical post made out of carpet. When his owners are home he likes to follow them around and sit on their laps. He is quiet during car rides. He is used to being free fed dry cat food. Lucio likes to sleep on the couch. Admissions Behavior: Lucio was sitting in the back of the carrier with his head pushed against the corner of the carrier. When the carrier was opened, he did not move. He allowed picking up and placing on the counter. When on the counter, Lucio laid down and did not move. He allowed to be collared and picked up and placed back in the carrier. When back in the carrier, he ran to the back and placed his head in the corner again.
