Marvelous ginger kitten LOOSY, just 13 months old, was sadly surrendered to the kill-happy ACC due to PERSONAL PROBLEMS. At home, Loosey was PURRfect: ” loosy is friendly around strangers. He has not lived with kids, but does respect them when they are around him. He plays gently with children. He has a high activity level and plays gently with adults as well. He enjoys having his coat brushed. Loosy is friendly, affectionate and playful. He has a high activity level and loves to play with balls with bells inside of it. Loosy’s favorite activity is to play. When home, he follows you around.” He earned a very good EXPERIENCE behavior rating. What’s not to love about Loosy? But the ACC has NO LOVE TO SPARE, now that poor Loosy caught their notorious kitty cold. The ACC prefers to KILL rather than CURE, so Loosy will DIE at noon tomorrow. 07/30/15 13:48 BASIC INFO: Loosy A1045947 is a male domestic shorthair cat, alittle over a year old, according to his Owner. Owner has had for about 11 months and Loosy was a gift from family. Owner cannot keep due to having personal problems and no permanent place to stay. Loosy does not have any behavior or health issues. SOCIALIAZATION: loosy is friendly around strangers. He has not lived with kids, but does respect them when they are around him. He plays gently with children. He has a high activity level and plays gently with adults as well. he has never klived with another cat or dog. Loosy has never bitten or scratched anyone. BEHAVIOR: Loosy does not have any behavior issues and is quiet riding in a car, He does not have litter box problems, but is best if you get a deep litter box because he kicks up the litter once he uses it. He has not been bathed. He enjoys having his coat brushed. He has not his nails trimmed. He is not bothered if you place him in a carrier. He is not bothered if you place him a carrier. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Loosy is friendly, affectionate and playful. He has a high activity level and loves to play with balls with bells inside of it. Loosy’s favorite activity is to play. When home, he follows you around. He has been kept mostly indoors. He sleeps on a cat bed. loosy eats Purina dry food. He uses a regular litter box with Fresh Step clay. Loosy uses a horizontal scratching post. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Loosy was tense upon intake, he was a bit scared, at first.

Reaction to assessor: Loosy was calm and relaxed upon approach. He slowly comes to the front and meows lightly when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Loosy remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Loosy shows interest by leaning his head on the wall and inching forward a little, but is very hesitant of touch and backs away from the assessor’s hand whenever the assessor attempts to pet him. He allows touch and leans lightly on the assessor’s hand at times, but would back away again and focus on the assessor’s hand while his tail flicks back and forth. As per previous owner, Loosy is friendly around strangers and is respectful around children. He plays gently with both adults and children and has a high activity level. Loosy is described as friendly, affectionate and playful. He loves to play with balls with bells inside of it and his favorite activity is to play. He follows the owner around at home and doesn’t have any behavioral issues. Behavior Determination: Experience Loosy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
