This handsome kitty was said by the staff to be a sweet, playful boy who loves to be brushed! He was such a love that the staff put out a special plea for his rescue! LOKI is about 3 years old, already neutered, and was said to be gentle around both adults and kids. He is friendly and playful and rocked a great AVERAGE rating from the assessor. 10/16/15 12:46 Basic information: Loki is a 3 yr. old male domestic short hair mix. The owner surrendered Oliver because of personal problems. Loki has no health problems and the owner has not taken him to a vet. Socialization: The owner states that around strangers Loki is friendly and outgoing. Loki has not been around children but around adults and children he is gentle and loves to be play. Loki has lived with another small male Pug and they got along very well with each other. Loki has never bitten or scratched anyone. Behavior: Loki has never been bathed, had his nails trimmed. He does not mind having his coat brushed, being picked up and allows being placed in a cat carrier. For a new family to know: The owner describes Loki as friendly and playful cat with a high activity level. Loki has never played with toys; he lives mostly indoors and sleeps anywhere in the house that he wants. In the home Loki will follow the owner around and prefers to stay in same room as the owner. Loki eats various brands of brand wet cat food and is feed once a day. He is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Loki has never been given a scratching post so the owner does not know if he will use it or not. Behavior during intake: During intake Loki was clam with soft body, he allowed us to scan (-) put on collar, photographed and placed in cat kennel.

Loki was bought into the care center due to his previous owner being evicted. He was then being watched by a friend of the owner who had to surrender Loki due to allergies. The owner states that around strangers Loki is friendly and outgoing. Loki has not been around children but around adults he is gentle and loves to be play. Loki has lived with small male Pug and they got along very well with each other. Reaction to assessor: Loki does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Loki does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Loki remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Loki allows petting and attention. Loki is very affectionate and likes chin rubs. Try picking cat up: Loki is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Loki was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Loki is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
