***SAFE 09/13/15*** LINNAEUS WAS LURED INTO A CAT CARRIER WITH 2 OTHER KITTENS ONLY TO4 BE DUMPED IN THE KILL HAPPY ACC – THIS 4 MONTH OLD KITTEN DESERVES A HOME – NOT A LETHAL INJECTION!! LINNAEUS and his pals Kinsey and Newton (not listed tonight) were lured into a cat carrier and whisked off to the shelter. This cute orange ginger boy is PERFECTLY HEALTHY yet the ACC will kill him because he is a frightened kitten. How unfair!! Kittens easily can adapt to a new home and LINNAEUS would love for someone to give him one. He got an EXPNOCHILD rating only due to being afraid in the shelter. This youngster deserves to have a chance to grow up and live a long and happy life. CAN YOU GIVE HIM THAT CHANCE? CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY.

09/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Linnaeus was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Linnaeus focuses on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Linnaeus remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Linnaeus remains immobile for petting on his head and back, but he starts to breathe rapidly and his ears tilt slightly sideways. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Linnaeus tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
