LILLY – A1054371
Gone 10-22-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 10/22/15** NEW HOPE RESCUE needed for LILLY tonight! This poor girl was given as a gift to people who probably didn’t want her, and indeed, she was frightened and overwhelmed by the people who ultimately brought her to the ACC. The ACC is a terrible environment for any animal, so of course, she was rattled enough to earn an EXPNOCHILD rating. She also caught the shelter cold, of course. None of that should add up to a New Hope rating but the shelter didn’t put her on the public list….so, as usual, things don’t add up here, but they will kill LILLY anyway. This girl needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to take her home, get her well, and then ENJOY her company! She is already SPAYED so this is definitely a girl who is ready to leave the shelter as quick as she can! Please advocate fiercely for LILLY tonight!

She allows petting on her head but starts to growl when you touch her back. Reaction to being picked up: Lilly starts to hiss when being picked up. She is tense and tries to jump away. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Lilly tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
