LARISA – A1059408
Gone 12-5-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 12/05/15*** LARISA and two litter mates, ROSI (not listed tonight) and BIRGIT (in the SUPER URGENT folder) were surrendered due to the owners moving to a place that doesn’t allow animals! Too bad they didn’t even think about the three cats they not only left behind, but left in the ACC, where they could lose their lives! LARISA is 9 years old and has health issues of her own, a mammory mass and an area if alopecia and dermatitis. She needs to be seen by a VET. If you FOSTER LARISA, the RESCUE pays the vetting bill. However, she’s available to the public for ADOPTION, but the bills will be in your hands to get this girl well! Either way,she needs help. Please, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT LARISA and give this swinging senior a great rest of her life!

Socialization: The owner states Larisa, Birgit and Rosi have never been around stranger or children. Larisa, Birgit and Rosi have lived together along with a small yorkie but they never interacted with each other (owner kept them in different rooms in the house) so the owner has no idea how Larisa, Birgit and Rosi would react around other dogs. They do not mind having their coats brushed, but they do not like being picked up or placed in a cat carriers. 12/03/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Larisa looks anxious in her cage, pressed against the back wall with body held tightly. Her eyes began to wander in place while she was breathing heavy. Reaction to touch: In order to minimize stress the Assessor did not touch Larisa. Placement determination: Experience / no child Larisa may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
