11/01/15 17:35HRS The owner would not provide behavior information for the profile, other than the cat is friendly and good with dogs. During intake Kuron was sitting in the rear of his carrier. He would sniff the Admissions Counselor hand when it was extended towards him and allowed petting. He was collared, scanned for a microchip (negative) and photographed without displaying any negative behavior.

Reaction to assessor: Kuron looks slightly tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Kuron remains crouched position at the back of the cage, alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: Kuron accepts the stroke, slowly began to head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He becomes antsy then jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Kuron interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
