KINSEY – A1050173
Urgent 9-8-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 09/08/15*** KINSEY IS A 6 MONTH OLD KITTEN. He was ‘lured into a carrier and the ‘finder’ pulled the door shut from afar. He’s scared, but he has allowed petting, but you can imagine how scary it is, being in a small steel cage and having a hand come at you when you are trapped in the back. Put KINGSEY into a normal situation where he has room and time to destress and you’ll be looking at any playful 6 month old kitten. KINSEY came in with two other cats-one is no longer listed-perhaps adopted-and the other is safe. But KINSEY isn’t and needs you tonight. He’s only 6 months old-will you help him? He’s just a baby-don’t let him be killed!!!!
My name is KINSEY. My Animal ID # is A1050173. – P

09/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Kinsey was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Kinsey’s eyes begin to dilate. He starts to breathe rapidly and focuses on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Kinsey becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Kinsey was hesitant of touch and shifts away from the assessor’s hand. He sniffs it and remains immobile for petting, but is wary of the assessor. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Kinsey tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
