GONE 04/17/15 “FRIENDLY” TABBY CHARMER HAS A SWEET VOLUNTEER PLEA AND HE ROLLS OVER FOR TUMMY RUBS – PLEASE GRANT KIMCHI A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Six-year-old gray tabby and white boy KIMCHI, dumped into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as a “FRIENDLY” STRAY, where he quickly caught the eye of an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: “Why was he named after fermented cabbage who knows? Sour he is not, sweet he is. Kimchi will roll over as soon as he sees your hand ready to pet him. He loves affection and attention and he can’t seem to get enough of friendly interactions. Come and meet this guy today and you will find a true surprise.” Kimchi earned a perfectly good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, and he even ROLLED OVER for a tummy rub! But the ACC will KILL this sweet boy at noon tomorrow, all because he SNEEZED! Please don’t let them murder this EXCELLENT cat. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable KIMCHI! If you can’t save KIMCHI yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

04/08/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Kimchi looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Kimchi remains lying down in a relaxed position on his cage bedding. Reaction to touch: Kimchi accepts the stroke, rolls over in place, and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: During the pickup, he began to hiss at the assessor’s hand. When placed back into his cage, he returned to solicit attention and engages with the assessor. Placement determination: Experience / no child Kimchi tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
