09/13/15 15:16 Basic Information: Jojo is an altered 15 year old Van domestic short hair. He was found as a stray 10 years ago and is being surrendered because the owner does not have a place to keep him currently. Jojo has no known medical problems or injuries but he is missing some teeth. HIs owner states that she loves how affectionate he is. Social Life and Personality: Jojo has been around children from infants and up. He is relaxed and affectionate with the children but does not play with them. She is relaxed around the other 4 cats he lives with. He has not been around dogs to know his behavior with them. He is litter box trained and does not have accidents outside the box. He has free access to the outside and stays outside for most of the day. He has a low activity level. His owner describes him as confident, mellow, and friendly, affectionate, and independent. Behavior: Jojo is afraid of baths and struggles during them. He has not had his nails trimmed. He enjoys being brushed, picked up, and held. He is not bothered when placed in a carrier or disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Jojo is used to clumping litter inside a hooded litter box. He does not play with toys or scratch on furniture. When people are home he is either outside or in his favorite spots in the home. He does not play with his owner; he usually is always sleeping. He meows during car rides. He eats both wet and dry cat food twice a day. He will eat any kind of cat treats and sleep anywhere in the house. Intake Behavior: Jojo sat in the corner of the carrier with a tense body. He allowed be picking up and placing on the counter for photos and collaring. He did not show any aggressive behaviors.

He is relaxed around the other four cats he lived with and exuberant during play. Adrian is litter box trained. He has a low activity level. JoJo previous owner described him as confident, mellow, and friendly, affectionate, and independent. Notes: JoJo at the time of the assessment was displaying shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, allows attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. JoJo is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
