*** SAFE 12/11/15 *** JOE IS JUST 7 MONTHS! Poor gentle little Joe! He’s been around children and is gentle and good with them. He’s great with other cats, and he was found outside and brought in to interact with the other animals in the finders home, but for whatever reason the finder thought they were doing JOE a favor, bringing him and his friend or brother (BENNY – A1059794) into ACC. JOE IS IN DANGER OF BEING PUT TO SLEEP TOMORROW-no matter how sweet, black cats have a harder time getting out of ACC alive! Won’t you reach out and save this sweet boy-and maybe his brother too? Don’t hesitate-these are kittens who will love you and entertain you with their antics!!! PLEASE SAVE JOE TONIGHT!!!

12/07/15 08:34 Basic Information: Joe is a 7month old neutered male domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issues that the owner is aware of. Social Life & Personality: Joe has been around children and he is a bit shy at first but interacts with them in a gentle playful manner. He has lived with other cats and according to the owner Joe interacts with other cats just fine. The owner has never interacted Joe with a dog due to never having one around for him to interact with and isn’t sure how he would react in the presence of one. Joe is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Joe is described to be shy, friendly, playful, and mellow with a medium activity level. Behavior Issues: The owner has made several attempts to bath Joe and he appears to be afraid. He won’t hiss, swat, or bite, but he will give a struggle when trying to bath him. These issues also apply when trying to trim his nails. However Joe does enjoy having his coat brushed and this can be done with no issues. Joe doesn’t like to be held much and will struggle when trying to put him in a cat carrier for transport. For a New Family to Know: Joe was brought up using clumping litter and a standard litter box. He is very interactive with cat toys and will play with just about anything according to the owner. Joe did have a scratching post and he used it pretty often. When in the home Joe is the type to rarely seek attention but be in the same room. When interacting with humans Joe plays in a gentle manner. When in the car for transport Joe appears to be fine and sits quietly during the ride. Joe was brought up eating dry food and the brand the owner gave was Science Diet.
