JESS – A1035639
5-14-2015 Brooklyn
***SAFE 05/14/15*** POOR SCARED KITTEN, FOUND ABANDONED IN AN APARTMENT, IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY BUT WILL DIE DUE TO HER FEAR – PLEASE GRANT JESS A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Pretty princess JESS, a one-year-old black tabby and white kitten, was dumped into the kill-happy ACC after she was found sadly ABANDONED in an apartment, along with her best fur-friend ABEL (A1035641, still available in the Urgent album). Little Jess is SCARED OUT OF HER WITS, so she retreated and acted defensively during her behavior test. The ACC PUNISHED her with New Hope Only and fast-tracked this excellent but fearful kitten to the noon kill list for tomorrow, despite the fact that Jess is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please know that Jess will revert back to her usual playful, affectionate kitten self as soon as she escapes the ACC hellhole. I feel sure that you will share our outrage over this poor kitten’s impending death and SHARE HER TO SAFETY TONIGHT. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster betrayed, scared tabby kitten JESS from the approved New Hope rescue groups! If you can’t save JESS yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

Notes: Jess was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment Jess was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
