HEISENBERG – A1050692
Urgent 9-26-2015 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
**SAFE 09/26/15** HEISENBERG was “soaking wet and smelled like bleach” when he was brought into the shelter with the sorry excuse of “too many pets” and because he had been breeding with other cats in the home. Well, a quick snip would have taken care of that but of course, blaming the victim is SO much easier, as is surrendering a cat to the ACC. Despite the bleach bath, his fur was found to be dirty and matted upon intake, which really makes a person wonder what this EXPERIENCE-rated boy has lived through. It is PAST TIME for his luck to change and that starts with a FOSTER/ADOPTER stepping up for HEISENBERG tonight!

09/08/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/08/15 13:39 Heisenberg’s owner surrendered him because he’s not neutered and is breeding with the other cats in the home. He has too many cats and doesn’t have time to have them neutered. Heisenber’s owner left without providing us any more information about him. Heisenberg is soaking wet and smells of bleach. Heisenberg had a soft body while I pet, scanned (+), collared, picked up, positioned for pictures, and put him into a kennel. He was easy to handle and didn’t resist/retreat/vocalize.
No Web Memo
09/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Heisenberg looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Heisenberg remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Heisenberg accepts the stroke but began to lip lick in place then slowly head-butt the assessor’s hand. He seems unsure with his surroundings and flinches during sudden noises. Placement determination: Experience Heisenberg tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
