She was tense during her initial medical exam, but also allowed handling. Reaction to assessor: Gracie remains calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Gracie comes to the front to sniff the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Gracie remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Gracie remains in place for petting, begins to purr, and closes her eyes. Reaction to being picked up: Gracie becomes tense, but allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Gracie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
