***SAFE 09/05/15 *** SOMEONE LEFT THIS FRIENDLY SENIOR GENT OUT ON THE STREET…..GENO found his way to the ACC as a stray….He has a good appetite but he is thin and the the ACC suspects that he is hyperthyroid. Hyperthyroidism is an easily treated condition that happens to both cats and people and is resolved by taking an inexpensive pill twice a day…..A MERE PITTANCE FOR THE LOVE AND COMPANIONSHIP IT WILL BUY….GENO is already NEUTERED and BEGINNER rated but he is longing for a home!! Reaction to Assessor: Geno was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. He meows and leans his head onto the cage door when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Geno remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Geno remains in place for petting, begins to purr, and leans onto the assessor’s hand to solicit attention. Reaction to being picked up: Geno remains soft and allows all handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Geno interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
