10/31/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/31/15 16:50 Frizzy is black and white male cat that came in as a stray. Finder stated that Frizzy has been showing up on his property. He stated that he wanted to keep him and he got along with his 2 children aged 6 and 9, very well but he kept spraying so he didn’t want to have him in the house. Upon intake, Frizzy displayed signs of nervousness; his ears were turned complete outwards, he retreated to the back of the carrier and his body was rigid. However, he displayed no signs of behavior issues and allowed his self to be collard and photographed inside the carrier.

11/03/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Frizzy does not come to front and appears nervous. When spoken quietly: Frizzy does not come to front and appears nervous. Reaction to door cage opening: Frizzy remains motionless Reaction to touch: Frizzy allows petting with a slow approach but she seems uncomfortable Try picking cat up: Frizzy is tolerant of this type of handling with a slow approach but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Frizzy was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
