A staff member writes: Flower is our gorgeous black panther. This beauty has striking green eyes and a luxurious, shining coat that draw you over to her. Once you get to her she does not disappoint! Flower adores being rubbed and scratched, and does well when you pick her up. She would be a great cat for someone who is a first time cat owner! NO CAT SHOULD DIE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A COLD! 10/19/15 11:07 Basic Information Flower was brought in as an owner surrender due to owner having personal problems. Owner stated that he received him from a friend, and while with him she only lived with him. Client says he fed Flower a variety of foods, and says she’s good with all. According to owner, Flower becomes very active at night and likes to run around. Flower did not play with toys. Behavior during Intake Flower was initially afraid during intake. Shed had dilated pupils, and backed away from counselor. Flower did not eat and allowed staff to conduct all handling. Flower showed no signs of aggression during intake.

Reaction to touch: Flower head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Flower interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
