Behavior:
Fabio’s previous owner states that he has never been around children or other cats, but is relaxed around dogs. He was kept indoors only and was described as playful, mellow, friendly, talkative, and affectionate with a high activity level. He likes to o play with string and stuffed toys and usually follows the owner around at home, playing gently when he gets the chance.
Reaction to assessor: Fabio was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Fabio rubs his head on the cage door.
Reaction to cage door opening: Fabio remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Fabio head-butts, begins to purr, and leans into petting. He really likes cheek rubs and rolls over to show his belly.
Reaction to being picked up: Fabio remains calm and allows handling.
Behavior Determination: Beginner
Fabio interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.

Basic Information:
Fabio is a two year old male domestic medium hair cat who is friendly.
Social Life and Personality:
Fabio has never been around children or other cats so it is unknown how he will react to them. Around dogs Fabio s relaxed. Fabio is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. Fabio is described as: playful, mellow, friendly, talkative and affectionate with a high activity level.
Behavior:
Fabio will claw on the furniture, mostly leather. Fabio has never bitten or scratched another person or animal. Fabio enjoys being given a bath, having his nails trimmed, having his coat brushed, being picked up and held, being put in a carrier and doesn’t mind being disturbed while he was sleeping.
For a new Family to Know:
Fabio will use any type of litter in an uncovered litter box. Fabio likes to play with string and stuffed toys. Fabio had a vertical scratching post made of wood but he never used it. When at home Fabio will follow you around and play gently with his owner. Fabio enjoys riding in a car and eats both wet and dry food twice a day. Fabio like to sleep on his own bed and behind the couch.
Intake behavior:
Fabio allowed staff to take pictures and scan for a microchip but hissed at staff when collar was being placed on him.
